Cards ordering, delivery and activation
With your Qonto account, you can get different types of cards. All cards offered by Qonto are debit Mastercards. Credit cards are currently not available at Qonto.
Please note that only account holders, admins, and managers can perform this action.
If you wish to order your Qonto card:
From the section Business Account, click on Cards and Create Card located in the top right corner :
Choose the type of card that fits your needs

Name the (future) cardholder

Please note: You can customize the cardholder's name under certain conditions. By default the full name stored in your account will be used for the card.
👉 If you would like to customize it, simply reach out to our support – they will walk you through the conditions and any legal or technical limitations.

Set your payment and withdrawals limits
Set days of use and spending categories (optional)

Choose your delivery address (for physical cards). It will be selected by the person in charge of creating the card. Cards can be delivered to :
The cardholder's personal address
The company's headquarters
A personalized address
🚨 Set the PIN code that will be the functional PIN for the use of your card. You can view your PIN at anytime.
Confirm your order via your Qonto app or with the confirmation code sent by sms
Your card has been ordered 🎉
⚠️ Please note that Qonto doesn’t offer the option to request duplicate cards. In such cases, you will need to request a new one
☝️ Good to know: For security reasons, a card order is finalized only when the PIN code has been defined by its owner. For more information on how to set your PIN code, please read the dedicated article : How do I set the PIN code of my Qonto card?
No need to wait in order to use your card ! They are active right after their creation for online payments and physical ones through Apple Pay or Google Pay before receiving them physically.

My card couldn't be delivered because the information I provided was incorrect. What can I do?
How do I cancel my existing card?
Steps to cancel your card:
- Log in to your Qonto account (web or mobile app)
- Go to Business Account section
- Click on Cards
- Select the card you want to cancel
- Click on Report lost/stolen (bottom right corner)
- Select Report as lost
- Confirm the action with your password
- This action is irreversible and will permanently block your card
- Any fees associated with this card will stop
- You can do this yourself - we cannot cancel the card for you for security reasons
How do I order a new card with the correct information?
- Update your delivery address in your account settings if it was incorrect
- Verify that both your company name AND the cardholder's name appear on the mailbox at the delivery address
Steps to order a new card:
- Go to Business Account section
- Click on Cards
- Click Create Card (top right corner)
- Choose the type of card that fits your needs
- Name the cardholder (the full legal name will be used by default)
- Set the parameters of your card (spending limits, categories, etc.)
- Set payment and withdrawal limits
- Set days of use and spending categories (optional)
