Some banks use outdated IBAN databases. When making a transfer to your Qonto account, you may see a message indicating that your IBAN (or BIC/SWIFT) is not valid.
What should you do first?
- Enter your BIC without the three trailing "X"s (e.g.: QNTOBEB1)
- If the error persists, contact the other bank's support and ask them to add your Qonto IBAN to their database
What if it still doesn't work?
Contact us via the chat bubble (web or mobile) and share:
- What you tried to do + the exact error message (a screenshot helps)
- The name of the bank involved
- The IBAN or account number of the sending account
- The transfer details: date/time, reference and amount
