Qonto makes subscription management simple and transparent. Your subscription fees are charged directly from your account balance, with flexible payment options.
You can choose monthly billing for pay-as-you-go flexibility, or annual billing to pay upfront for the full year and save on costs. To learn how to change your plan, check out this guide.
☝️ Important: Always maintain an account balance higher than your upcoming fees. For details on your costs, see this article.
When will I be charged for my subscription?
Your first payment is due at the end of your 30-day trial (except for Incorporating Companies, who pay upon registration).
- Monthly billing: Your first charge is prorated based on the remaining days in the month. After that, you're billed on the 1st of each month.
- Annual billing: Your first charge covers the remaining days in the current month plus 11 additional months. After that, you're billed annually on your anniversary.
What happens if my account balance is insufficient?
Qonto does not apply penalty fees for overdue payments. If your account lacks funds, you'll receive a "payment failure" notification.
- Sufficient funds upon top-up: Qonto charges the full outstanding amount immediately.
- Insufficient funds: Charges remain pending until the next cycle. Qonto will attempt to collect pending fees on the 1st of each month.
💡 If you use top-up via card, you can manage this in Settings Billing and invoices Payment methods.
When will I receive my invoice?
Monthly invoices become available on the 1st day of the following month (e.g., July invoice is available on August 1st).
